MW Architects LLC is a multi-disciplined architectural firm providing all major lines of services. We provide professional services to both residential and commercial clients. Our services include design as well as forensic architecture and construction administration services.

Michael S. Wijdoogen, AIA, LEED AP BD+C Owner/Architect of MW Architects

Michael is the Principal Architect at MW Architects LLC and has been involved in the industry for the past two decades. He founded the firm in 2006 and has been expanding ever since by consistently providing clients with a balanced and positive experience. Michael holds both a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture professional degree from the Catholic University of America.

He is a member of the AIA, NCARB and is registered as an Architect in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia and 16 other states nationwide.
Michael’s experience includes planning studies, existing building analysis, schematic design, bid coordination, construction drawing developments, and construction administration. His past projects span a wide range of types in both the private and public sectors, including schools, small and large commercial projects, mixed-use buildings, and governmental assessments.

Meet BLK2GO

The BLK2GO is a compact imaging laser scanner that uses a powerful laser distance meter and high-definition panoramic imaging to create a 3D point cloud of the space around it.  The BLK2GO provides accurate scans of existing structures and assist us in developing 1/32" existing condition tolerances BLK allows us to reduce or mitigate multiple site visits, reducing costs to the client.
